Check current flight, airport, entry, border and travel warning information that could affect a trip to Singapore.
Singapore Status
NORMAL
Travel to Singapore is operating normally. No major nationwide flight, airport, entry or border disruption has been identified. Travellers should still check the entry requirements that apply to their passport before departure.
Current Travel Conditions
What Travellers Should Know
SG Arrival Card
Most travellers entering Singapore are required to submit the SG Arrival Card (SGAC) within three days, including the day of arrival. The official SG Arrival Card submission is free.
Passport validity
Travellers other than Singapore passport holders generally need a passport with at least six months of validity to enter Singapore.
Visa requirements
Whether you need a visa depends on the passport or travel document you hold. A Singapore visa does not itself guarantee entry, as immigration clearance is determined at the checkpoint.
Land checkpoints
Singapore’s land checkpoints with Malaysia can become very busy during weekends, holidays and other peak travel periods. Travellers crossing by road should allow additional time when traffic is heavy.
Latest Travel Changes
Current entry system
Singapore continues to use the electronic SG Arrival Card for arrival information and health declarations. Eligible travellers should complete it within the required three-day period before arrival.
Electronic Visit Pass
Foreign visitors receive their Visit Pass electronically after clearing immigration rather than through a passport endorsement. Travellers should provide a valid email address when submitting their SG Arrival Card.
Before You Travel
Conditions can change quickly. Check your airline, Singapore Changi Airport, Singapore’s Immigration & Checkpoints Authority and the travel advice issued by your own government before departure.
